Systembolaget engaged us to develop both an updated brand identity and a new retail concept.


The aim was to strengthen their customer promise by transforming the shopping experience into something more specialized, moving away from the typical volume-based retail model. Key objectives included improving customer satisfaction, addressing the complexities of selling alcohol responsibly, and clearly communicating Systembolaget’s mission.


The result is an inspiring, knowledge-driven “beverage library” influenced by Nordic design and based on customer insights. This updated brand identity and retail concept encourages mindful alcohol consumption through a customized shopping experience. It reflects Systembolaget’s unique expertise and commitment to responsible consumption, with compassion as a guiding value.
